Hello, my name is Lisa Farrell and I am originally from New York City. After spending 20 years riding the subway day after day from my Brooklyn home to my stressful job in Manhattan, I decided I wanted more out of life. So in 2004, I took off and never looked back.
My plan? I was headed to California, to create a more active lifestyle near the beach. But first, I took my dive masters course in Costa Rica. At the end of the course, I was offered a job at the dive shop and, on a whim, I took it. My work attire went from business suits and uncomfortable high-heels to bikinis, board shorts, and flip-flops. And my ‘office’ was underwater! It was a dream come true. In the years since, I have become a licensed member of the Costa Rican Global Association of Realtors, own and operate a successful sport fishing business and was rehired back as a consultant at my NYC job which recently came to a conclusion.
Landing in Costa Rica has changed my life in ways that were once unimaginable, and I am passionate about using my business and entrepreneurial background to tailor a version of that dream for you.
